i'm feeling kind of guilty for paying as much as i did, but i really like it. britt tried to make me regret buying it saying i'm just an impulse buyer. so, do i keep it or return it and why? i could really use the money to save for a new car, but it's soooo nice. help?

Well I think if you love it as much as you do, keep it. But you could also return it and wait for the price to go down? I would keep if it was me, but it's up to you.

I would have saved for the car. You could have gotten a cheaper laptop and stuck OSX on it pretty easily.

You and brit can either watch porn together on the laptop...
or...
have sex in a car you saved up money for.
it's whichever you prefer.

^ Sex in a bed would be better.

Not to go off topic, sorry Spencer, but I having sex in a car is more thrilling than in bed. Sometimes having sex in bed can be monotone, especially if you have sex every night. Different places sometimes is good. Besides, getting head in the car while parked near a sidewalk of a park, happens alot.

I say return the Mac book. I bought a new phone last weekend, and really liked it. But I realized it was too much, and returned it. Found out, I found a better deal for the same phone for a way cheaper price.

you obviously like it so keep it. Just because your friend says its a waste doesn't mean you should take their word. Sure having a car would be nice, but if you live in a big city then you would just get stuck in traffic.

well what would you use it for. I think a car would be more useful, but IDK enough about you to give any advice. I'm not a fan of apple, so I'd say get a regular laptop for cheaper :/
Tung
Feb 25 2009, 04:36 PM
What do you mean "regular" laptop. Many people have Macs. So wouldn't Macs fall into the "regular" category as you fore mentioned?
shanaynay
Feb 25 2009, 04:39 PM
A laptop that isn't apple. Like a Dell or Gateway for instance. basically something with Windows on it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Screen_of_DeathOne of the worst things that can possibly happen to a Mac user.
And it's pretty strange to Windows users too.

Me too, why did you return your's spencer?
I was wondering though, from the people that come to this topic, probably mac enveyers, or mac enthusiests. haha, haven't a clue. But I had a question, how do you keep it clean, in the long run. I've seen some white mac books that get pretty grimy... I don't want that to happen to mine. So, any tips?
i've had mine for almost a year and a half and the only physical markings on it are where i rest my wrists and hit certain spots on keys

the best way to clean those marks where your wrists rest is to use one of those mr. clean magic eraser thingies. that's the only working way i've found anyway.
i wouldn't have taken it back if i were you spencer

. was it the new macbook that's supposed to be more "green"?

If your car works fine with A/C and radio, keep the macbook.
If not, wtf you doing wasting money on an expensive laptop?
