Which one would u ppl prefer? mac computers or windows computers?

MAC!! i love my G5 but i use windows more often cuz i'm too lazy to walk down stairs to use the MAc

I don't have a MAC anymore.

Windows has a lot more features and I think its more convenient.. but one of the good things about Macs is that they're almost no viruses that affect them.. where as Windows is constantly plauged with viruses

Window versions of softwares are always better than the MAC version...

From where I live, it's kinda hard to get technical support for MACs...

But then, I DO like the MAC interface more...

Ur wrong there =] IF Windows was so high they would have gotten the chance of getting virus right? Mac doesnt have viruses / spyware / adware because it built on the architecture thats virtually immune from those things. Mac has the certain advantage when photo editing, video editing, 3d rendering.

Well, we have to iMacs here. I like 'em better..I guess. Lol. Don't ask why. But I guess it's just because we use 'em more. Our PC keeps on getting messed up.

One disadvantage is tho... Macs only have EXTREMELY mainstream games. Most games are made for only Windows.

But if you're not using it for gaming, then MACS ALL THE WAY. Its much more stable and has much better RAM management. Also... the G5 cooling system rocks. ^^

uhm ok just from your experience what mac did you try, i'm guessing a really old ass one from your school. My mac vs ur computer, it'll blow your computer away. YOU WILL NOT BEAT MY G5 Dual 2.0ghz

I'd definitely go with Macs. I'm into digital video editing and 3D rendering and overall, Macs have been known to totally kick Windows PCs' asses in that category.

ok dude they only reason they dont have viruses and sh*t like that is because most movie makers use them and people dont wanna f*** with movies then also because they want to hit most people and most people use windows but anyway

my aunt has her mac g5 and i LOVE it. i hardly go over her house though because shes in NJ but i like my windows too.

macs don't have many viruses because it's not worth making a virus for mac when more people use windows. why make a virus that can only damage a few when you can make a virus that targets the most popular OS in use?

Thats not true, there are soo many viruses for windows because everything is integrated together closely allowing virus to spread from a simple email client to the core operating system. Virus code writers usually target windows machine because they know it'll take time for an anti-virus company to release a remover and signature defs and windows to release a patch. Which takes time since most anti-virus companies are closed to their employees only and windows the same. Apple was built over open-source technology meaning anybody can go and edit the sourcecode an recomplie it themselves. Its ironic how the sourcecode it flying around the internet and it has less viruses.

well PC i think is better because you can customize them more....
you can't exactly take a mac apart on the kitchen table and upgrade it like a PC...

It depends. If you like doing something design related (if you use Adobe or paint shop), you should get the Mac. If it's just for school, Windows is better.
