What is the niche of your website. Just get some good forums and good blogs on your niche. Start commenting or posting on them.

Use Adwords or adbrite to get more and more traffic.

Start link building with less competitive keywords.

These are the basics. Once your blog get popular than you do not have to do anything your fan and your visitors will do that on behalf of you :)
