Ridiculously simple. Looks like something the average MySpace fansite owner could make.

lol i know i was wondering what else could be added, because i am running out of ideas on what to do to images.

Lol @ the fact that the 3 ppl who posted above me are the same ppl who posted in members photos with dumb responses as well. Wow.

I think you can change up the background. The loop around the body is kind of weird, hmm. I think that if you wanted to keep that, then the end of the loops string should go around his head too. Nice try though.

I think he needs to have some more sharpness to him. His face and arms are blurry. I'm not a big fan of the text, but if you really like that font, then go with it. I agree that the loop around him should continue a little more. Right now it looks really awkward.

That GIF seriously made me pee my pants.

okay, i am thinking about taking off the loop thingy, and what kind of font should i use?

It looks really blurry to me, and the original is better looking in my opinion. If you're looking for some sort of animation, you should try doing something in Flash like having it say Oli Sykes and having his name move up and down. I wouldn't do the shaking though.

I would but i suck at flash =/

^ I suck at Flash, too. It just takes some playing around to get it right. If you're not comfortable with Flash, you can always try Adobe ImageReady CS2.

I have imageready 7 (i think thats cs2) but I just got the cs4 trial so its hard to transition the image to IR

Hmm, good question. I think it's just because I've seen that font quite a bit. I think the loop would be ok, but it looks awkward because the edges of it aren't that smooth, while he is. I think if you want to keep the loop you need to soften the look of it a bit and sharpen him a little more... that may help balance things out.

No to the gif. It makes my head hurt. wacko.gif

I agree with Sally on the loop. I think it's too simple as well. Add more, imo. But you did add more "color" to the image.
Tramatize
Well I fixed it, I think, the loop is gone, i tryed to fix it but it wasn't looking right so i took it out.
I added a texture, i think it looks good, and also i changed the font and sharpened Oli.

Yeah, that's CS2. It's not really all that hard.

That video will teach you how to do it.
Instead of doing that with an object, do it with text.

That actually helped a lot. I mean't like moving a image from CS4 to IR CS2, lol but I think I know how to do that now. =)

I think that with the new version, maybe add more colour into it ._.
It looks really bland and I don't really think of Oli as 'bland' ._.
It just doesn't suit him in my mind :D
Mikeplyts
I like the second version better but it still looks a bit plain and basic. Not much to say really. mellow.gif
emberfly
that spiral thing around the person is WAY too overused. It's just too overused and uncreative nowadays. I don't think you should use it unless you do something spectacular with it.

I think I should sharpen it.. it looks blurry.

I hate saying this, because I think it sounds really mean when it's said, but I honestly liked the before better sad.gif sorry!
