I have congestion and a sore throat. i tried that musonex-d and it kept me up all last night. i tried that zycan though and it's doing good so far.

what do you use?

bennedryl clears our my congestion and certainly won't keep you awake. i hate taking it in the day though because i'm drowsy as hell after.

Green Tea. Start taking multivitamins. I haven't been sick in just over 6 years.

I have been sick all week. I dont take pills or medicine or go to doctors.
What doesnt kill me makes me stronger. But I do use this stuff that clears my nose. You put it on your chest and when you breath it in it clears your sinuses. I think it's made by vicks.

vapor rub lol

My grandfather used to make his own vapor rub. It was weird.

I usually don't take cold medicine, unless I can't sleep. If I can't sleep I'll take some nyquil. I didn't get a cold last season, or this season *knock on wood. But when I do have one I just tough it out for the most part.

I don't like taking medicine, either, but when I'm feeling miserable, some good ol' Theraflu does the trick. I love Theraflu. It's what the angels take when they get sick.

I haven't been sick but once this year, and that makes me happy. I've been downing orange juice like crazy, so I'm thinking that's what's doing the trick.

benadryl is the stuff. it always helps and i get the best sleep when i take it. i also love vicks vapor rub. i smell that stuff even when i'm not congested. theraflu clears my cold up within a couple days. i hate being sick so i take it the day i start to get the scratchy throat.

Robutussin. I think that's how you spell it, lol.

Comtrex or Sudafed, depending on what I have.

Ahh, I love taking NyQuil, then put some medicational alcohol on my chest, throat, forhead & nose. & take a looong sleep. My dad usually does this Puerto Rican technique, he gives me Rum, mixes it with lemon & hot ginger & then gargle it--but it's STRONG. So strong, it burns your tonsils but it worked like a charm.

I used this decongestant from Tylenol (severe cold and sinus) this last week while I was sick. The last time, it worked really well, but this time not so much. I ended up getting this 12-hr Mucinex from my mom and that helped clear the stuff up.

I remember one time I had Sudafed and that stuff was amazing, but it was only once so I can't say I use it every time. I find that if I can't sleep because my sinuses are blocked off somehow, I stack pillows and sleep on my back with my head and shoulders elevated more than normal. It doesn't cure my congestion, but it makes it easier for me to breathe at least.
