There are codes in Xanga Script section that could probably help you out there. Like the no-right click code or something.
Hope you can find them.

Yeah.. I dont suppose there's a way to disable viewing source code, is there?
Disabling right click and disabling highlighting make it annoying and dont do much cuz the person can just look at your source code for your links and text

also people can just go (if in internet explorer) to view>source on the menus at the top. its no use disabling rightclicking. just makes it annoying to the readers if the page shakes and stuff everytime one rightclicks.

Well technically wouldn't that mean you looked at her source? Even though you're trying to protect yours?
Kinda hypocritical..
But you can put messages in your source.. to the reader.. to scare them, I guess, but that doesn't really do anything. There's no way to protect your source unless you have an encoder and decoder.

Doesnt xanga not allow encoding?
Createblog already has an encoder for official members:

it is extremely hard to find one tho..most of the encrypters don't work bcuz xanga blocked it.

their are also codes out their that make it so if you copy+paste someone else code, you get a message like: WTF ARE U DOING TAKING MY CODES
or something like that. And everytime you try to copy it and paste it anywhere,it give you that message.

It's probably in the xanga scripts section.
I hate those codes. It's not when you copy stuff from their site, it's just when you visit their site. It sucks, I'm just browsing through xangas, and I have this important thing on my clipboard, and when I paste it, there's something like "WTF BYATCH WHY YOOH GOTTA BE A JOCKAAH"..
It's lame.

dont bother getting that code. all you have to do is close your internet browser, and when you paste w/e you copied, it wont say, "WTF BLAH BLAh"

At any rate, the World Wide Web has always revolved around being open-source, and allowing other people to see your markup. The content of your site is what should be the most important, not the layout.

There really is no way to protect your stuff, people can get to it no matter how much you protect it, that's just the way it is. If you don't want people to steal your stuff, don't put it on the internet.

@ shortvi3tlaydee there's a html decoder right there... there's no point in using html encrypter since people can just find the same program or place you did it and use the decrypt/decode the html.
what are you trying to protect though? if it's a song or video and it's hosted by you, embed the player. if it's a code/script, mix it in with a lot of other codes. if they're nice enough they will ask you what code you used.
the best way is to disable the right click, and the highlight. only way i can see that you can totally cover your html is if you make your whole xanga into a flash...
