I have a date on vday, and I want things to be different on this date. I don't want this woman to see me as just a friend. I want to set the tone early that I don't want just friendship. I'm not after ass either. I'd like to progress into a relationship with her. What can I do to get her to take me seriously, and not put me in the "friends zone?"

Talk to her the way you would talk to a lover instead of how you would talk to a friend? ... don't call her "dude."
