I dont know if there are threads like this but I was wondering if yall know of sites that have textures, and other stuff that are free for commercial use.
So they can be used not only on a myspace layout but I website you may be making money off of.
I need some wood, and paper tiling backgrounds and graphics to use for sites but I dont want to use stuff I find on photobucket cause they were most likely stolen from someone who had copyrights for it.

Come to think of it, I don't think there any sites like that. I'm sure there won't be any sites like that because like how you put effort into your layouts, they put effort into their resources so of course, it most likely won't be free for commercial use. Try googling or yahoo search.

^I would suggest this the most, then if you want you could offer them on your site.

If you're lucky, you'll come across some on deviantart. But for the most part, people don't even let you use their stuff outside of DA. D: Like the others said, making your own is the safest bet.

Copyright information

Use the images on Lost and Taken in any of your photographic or design projects, both personal and commercial (no need to give me credit). The only thing you can't do with the images is use them in their original state as your own stock photography. Don't sell them as your own or host them elsewhere. Thanks!

So, you can use them, but can't redistribute them in their raw form. So. Yeah.
