Shit.
TehUpload has no file size or extension limit.
emberfly
tinypic is so shitty. They delete your pictures after you upload them. (it takes like a month or so, but eventually they get around to it).

I use XS.to. They allow humongous file sizes.
takemyhand
tinypic really delete your pics? cause i can go to pictures from like forever and they`d work. and i posted my subdomain in a bulletin on myspace asking if it works for other people, and they all replied back saying it works for them? :/

and i`d have A LOT to reupload ... :/

also NOTHING from tinypic is working for me =/
not just my stuff ...
Harp
yeah, i have really old pics from tinypic, too.
it's the only thing i use. maybe its your computer.
wwwww
Either way, tinypic sucks.

Only internet noobs that survive off of MySpace use tinypic.
Maccabee
Ur a noob cause u use any of those. I have my own server.
wwwww
I've got 4. Have fun with your low bandwidth.
Maccabee
I have unlimited bandwidth.
Although i have like a paid host thing.
Do you have like your own server box thing?
How do you do that and attach a domain name too it.

^ Joseph, search google, for Dedicated Servers.

I think you asked about cb servers one time.. not sure though. shrug.gif

cb is hosted on a dual xeon quad core 2.66ghz (harpertown) / 8gb ram / 4x 146gb 15k rpm sas on hardware raid10.

the image servers are single xeon 2.66ghz (harpertown) / 2gb ram / 2x 250gb hd on dedicatd 50mbps ports each.

the dev server (also hosting cb promo stuff) is a dual xeon dual core 2.8ghz (clovertown) / 2gb ram / 2x 73 10k rpm scsi.

theyre all running linux (centos 5 64bit). the main server is colo, the rest dedicated leases.

Is ram in a server like bandwidth with online host things?
And i understand how servers work kinda bu i just dont understand how you put a site on that and connect the server to the "internet"

But that is some cool info!
emberfly
hosting makes absolutely no sense to me.
takemyhand
well yeah i have a subdomain but idk, i feel like its easier if i use tinypic or something ... it also saves more room on my computer .. when i make a new font or a new twilight graphic or something, i save over the old one then i just upload it on tinypic ......
Mickey
Maybe you accidentally blocked TinyPic on your browser. I'm guessing your images aren't appearing only on your computer because images uploaded on TinyPic have been disabled from loading. If you use FireFox, do you have the AdBlock Plus add-on?
takemyhand
yeah i use firefox. but i dont think its my computer problem. i wont work in any computer in my house. i think it has something to do with the router or w/e its called? x] on my itouch i was on the one my house uses (dlink) and the images didnt work. when i changed my wifi to my old one, it worked? ...
