I finally made nearly all the money i need for my camera and I remember Juna reccomending to buy from Circuit City, however i go to their site and they are filing for bankrupcy and will be closing stubborn.gif I went on their site and it was saying all the liquidation stuff go check for yourself
So where else can i get my camera?
ive been having the worst luck trying to find a place with a reasonable price and either ran into a scam site or a potential gray market one and the one at circuit city is out of stock.
though since circuit city is going through the liquidations they are having a huge sale from January 17th till about the end of march but first off im afraid that they are not going to restock the Nikon D80 or people will figure and buy it and get out of stock again.

Im also going to call the store nearest to me and see whats up, though i could still reccomend some places.

lol are you sure it was me who said you should get it from Circuit City? 'Cause I never shop at Circuit City. It was probably Costco, 'cause I love that place (and it's where I bought my D80).

Get it from Costco, they have a 90 day return policy, and the prices are usually cheaper.

^oh maybe it was that XD

Wal-Mart
Best Buy

If all else fails, Ebay.

Juna, how much was it at costo?
Walmart still sells it for a lot of money : \
With amazon we tried but it linked to another place and we didnt know if we should trust it or not. I cant remember if ive tried Ritz Camera or not, though looking at it now the price is pretty reasonable. I just need to make sure these are reliable places too.

Like Broadway photo, great price, found out that most of the people who have bought from there have gotten scammed

Oh shoot, maybe they're not selling the D80 anymore; I see it on their site but for some reason you can't add it to your cart.

Costco may not necessarily be the cheapest possible, but the 90 day policy more than makes up for it, 'cause you're a Costco member, you can basically "borrow" the camera for 90 days.

Well, don't get it from Circuit City, 'cos, well, you know...

yea i know sad.gif
i was so bummed and pissed off. Trying to by this camera has been the most difficult thing ever i swear. Im not even going to bother for that sale of theirs mainly because i dont think they are going to re-stock their goods. Though i will probably call the closest store to me (which is an hour and a half away) and see if they have it and how much they are selling it for.
If not im probably going to buy it from Ritzcamera because its got a good price and it comes with a lens.

This is really depressing too, its sad that our economy has gotten so bad.

You could always go to Canada and get one from Circuit City. wink.gif
