I know why. He's been blackballed in the music industry for, basically, calling people on their bullshit. Quite frankly, Joe Budden doesn't care because he's the rapper who tells the truth and doesn't fabricrate his past. If you know anything about the music industry, specifically the hiphop game, then you know that 'Pump it Up' was party record he was forced to put out for promo purposes. But let's be real, the Mood Muzik series of pseudo-album mixtapes are far better than much of what hiphop has produced in years. Lyrically, dude is on another level. I can't wait for padded room to drop.

yea there's alot of underrated rappers out there honestly i don' tknow why people get so hyped on this mainstream stuff and at the same time they hate on it cause everyone sounds the same. I honestly can't say there are many songs that are out right now that dont' have similar feels to them
such as getting money girls or drugs, street cred. or gangsta things it's one of the few choices and it's very repetative

Anyways the reason why he's underrated imo, is because he didn't keep up with the beef towards Saigon. There's a youtube video of Joe Budden specifically speakin about the fact that people wanted him to continue the beef but he didn't want to because it was becoming reality, it was becoming real beef. More than showbiz beef.

So the reason why he's underrated is because his fans are stupid as shit and want him to follow a trend that isn't even hip hop to begin with. I totally agree with Joe Budden on backing off.

The reason why I don't like him was because of the fact that he was egged on to get involved with Saigon when Saigon doesn't give two shits about him. I dislike people who get manipulated by others in the game of hip hop. Thus is why I prefer independent labels.. they're free and don't have to follow some stupid trend just to become popular.
