Great movie indeed. I never saw wrestling in that way before until now. I was so happy when him and his daughter got to spend time with each other, and he got her a peacoat. I also like how they showed the stripper side of the story too. That was pretty good. I really enjoyed this movie. However, the ending kinda left me hanging a bit. Maybe I'm so use to the happy ending, but I thought for sure he was going to be with the stripper Cassidy at the end, and re-unite with his daughter. But I guess not. =\

Anyways, I recommend everyone to watch this movie.

if the ending was happy the movie would be a greater lie than it already is (as film, or any form of art for that matter, is helplessly a lie). it's a pretty good film, for sure. appropriately depressing. very restrained for aronofsky - easily his best film.

really? i wanna see it, looks pretty good. Never liked sports movie until i cried on Million Dollar Baby.
