I don't know about you, but I hate coding. I mean... I HATE it.
It feels like a chore to me. By the time I'm coding, I'm already done with the whole creative process, and at that point, it's just carrying out my design. My problem is that it can't go fast enough. I'm not very patient... and I can't be creative when I code.
Especially when you have to adjust something by a mere pixel just so that it's perfect. Coding is OCD, and that is not me.
I'm sure there are many of you that like this part of the process.
Thoughts?

Ehh..well I don't really enjoy coding but I do it anyways. Yeah, it is a bit of a drag with the creativity thing but sometimes it can like make you feel "smart" or accomplished when you make a form or something like that. I dk. But for me, coding is definitaly not the funnest part.

It's the only reason I have yet to submit anything lately. It's so boring.

at times, i prefer coding over rendering. usually i'm so excited about the complete site that i can't wait to get to the coding part. it always feels like i wanna rush through the graphics just to code it.

Once I stepped away from a computer for like five minutes to socialize with other people, I realized that coding is pretty damn lame. I bought a two-year subscription for a website while I was waiting to pick up class back in May and it's been rotting ever since

If I have a really awesome image that I am proud of, then I do tend to want to code it for the finished product.

I prefer the coding over the image-making part. There are many things you could do to speed up the process of coding too. I think that there is a lot of creative things that you can do with coding as well. You don't have to have graphics to make a site aesthetically appealing.
In my head, I figure out what I have to do to code and make it appealing in the design process. So by the time I actually code, it's not new and uncreative. my brain works differently, I guess

I seem to have the opposite problem - I love coding, but I have no creativity to design things. This results in me never having anything to code :( Often get into moods where I feel like coding but don't know where to start. Its so frustrating.

But I normally dont have any stuff to do.

How do you get ideas of layouts to code? Are you quite creative as well?
If so, I envy yooou ^_^

^ I'm the same way but usually coding annoys the hell out of me specially when things go wrong and not my way. What I hate about it is you can forget to put on tiny "/" or "<" and close the tags and everything can f*ck up.
