I've been working on this drawing of a dinosaur which I'm going to make into an icon for about 6 days, on & off. And I'm a terrible drawer so it's even worse. This has probably been the longest I've worked on a design/graphic. And when I draw something that's decent looking, I'll scan it, import it into Photoshop & use brushes to color it in. But then I do that & everything looks so not straight & UGH. stubborn.gif

What's the longest it took you to finish something as far as designing goes? Did it turn out the way you wanted it to? You can post the final product if you want to. :D

My last MCR graphic (found here) took me days to finish.

Everytime I would sit down to work on it something would come up and I would have to stop. Sometimes I would have to start the computer up again and everything would be gone. And once Photoshop kept telling me I "didn't have enough RAM to do any effects". It was so frustrating.

I was so happy when I finally finished. I actually liked how it turned out too :]

Woah that's cool. I missed that graphic for some reason. I really like the watercolor effect you added. :)

Well that latest vexel took me over a year to finish. =/ And it turned out pretty damn well, IMO.

Dang a year? Woah. But yeah it's awesome!
technicolour
Yeah. Worked on it bits at a time and then I just decided to freaking finish it.

And thanks! :D

40 minutes total working time.

I don't venture outside of shitty 4chan style edits much.

Currently, I'm working on a site/site layout and it's taking FOREVER.

But the longest time it took me to finish something was like a week.
ForgiveTheSinner
longest was about 4 days on a site. that included making the layout, coding it and adding content lol
Maccabee
maybe 2 days. Cause I was making a site and their was drop shadow around the sides but it had to go longer as you type more cause it wasnt a div. well I saved and changed the same picture about 30 tmes cause Its hard to make a drop shadow do exactly what you want and there was just always one misplaced pixel!
Well I could have odne it all faster but I had nothing else to do so i took my time.
And this is all in photoshop elements! Crazy old!
