I recently heard of a german death metal band called Rammstein. Even though I don't understand what they're saying they still sound awesome! Check 'em out. Oh, and btw, who's your favorite heavy/death metal band? (if you have one.)

Rammstein isn't death metal. Heavy metal, maybe, but it's missing a few key parts of a death metal band.

Anyway, Eths is the best death metal band.

^Yeah, I figured Rammstein was a heavy metal but my dad kept telling me that they were death metal. I agree on Eths being the best death metal band though. I have several of their songs on my iPod.

I dont really listen to death metal, but my favorite heavy metal would have to be pantera, and/or Korn...but they are more Nu-metal, but I really don't consider them to be because they said they aren't.

I can understand Rammstein. Most of their lyrics aren't anything special anyway, but "Du Hast" has some really clever word play.

Some metal bands that you might like,

Children of Bodom - Melodic Death metal + power metal.
Divine Heresy - Metal (New vocalist is horrible, listen to the other stuff.)
Dethklok - Death metal.
Moonspell - gothic/black metal. (I don't recommend black or gothic metal bands to anyone religious, a bit satanic.)
Satyricon - Black/gothic metal.
Cannibal Corpse - They sound really good but the lyrics can be really disgusting.
Opeth - Progressive/Metal.
DevilDriver - Groove metal. It might sound a little silly but these guys are sick.

You don't even have to get into the lyrics to know that.

With titles like "Orgasm Through Torture", "Addicted to Vaginal Skin", "Meathook Sodomy", and "I Cum Blood", you know something is going to be f*cked up.

Some of those titles are just f*cked up.
