Okay, there seems to be quite a few threads on this, so I will just type what I've written before. If you have the money, maybe you should've invested in the Canon PowerShot ELPH S500.

Information about the Powershot ELPH S500:
  • Price: $499 (Some places overcharge you, don't let that happen! and don't buy there!)
  • 5.0 Megapixels
  • 3.0x Optical Zoom
  • 4.1x Digital Zoom
  • 12x Combined Zoom
Sony has a more sleek, cooler look because it is of different shapes and designs. The Canon Powershot ELPHs.. well they usually look very similar, just different megapixels and total zooms. personally, if you had the money, you should invest in Canon because they have better quality pictures and many people trust them. Sony yea it looks cool but I suggest Canon, that's all. My boyfriend has an old Canon powershot ELPH 2.0 megapixels one (he bought it like 2 years ago) and yea it was like 300$. It's still really good, even though it's old. wink.gif Just a suggestion.

I'm probably going to end up getting one of those new Sony one's by the end of the summer.

Cant go wrong with a Canon Powershot ^^ I would get the powershot S60, A80, or S400.

I wouldnt get sony b/c of their memory stick format which is pretty slow in storing images. But if you getta sony try to get one with Sony Memory Stick Pro which is on my camera and its a flash.

But yeah if i could get any camera in the world it would be a canon EOS-1Ds Digital, w00t @ 8k its one the best digital cameras in the world.
