It's just a black skirt. Just put a shirt on. You don't need anything special to wear with it. I've paired a similar skirt (although patterned) with a white tank top and a cardigan.

Yeah I think a simple white shirt (tucked in ) & black cardigan would look cute. Just look through your closet & see what you have & if anything goes with it.

I like the tank top + cardigan deal. Although I wouldn't go with a black cardigan if your skirt is black, and certainly not in conjunction with a white top. I don't know why but I am very fearful of the black + white combination. It could be those years in band.
