i want to find a way to advertise my work so a lot of people can see it. i feel by uploading my work on DA or Behance isn't enough.

if you have any suggestions, besides making a website, to help put my self "out there" more, please tell me.

Well, besides making a website, I'd join multiple art forums and post around, make friends, and build connections.
