ok ok lets' say i was gonna make a site.
well im making a layout site on myspace
& i want i think its called a layouthost. so people can see the layouts.

for example --click here.

something like that. it shows the layout. anyone knos' what im talking about?
itsmattadams
I use http://fixtatik.com/fixtatikms. You can also use http://extroverthost.com/. It's the best free host, and I've tried many.
Mickey
Looks like the site just takes the code from their MySpace tester pages and puts them on a page of their website. But I think Fixtatik's Management System is the thing you're looking for.
younqxquizit
alright i seee. but is http://fixtatik.com/ free?
Mickey
Yeah, it is. It says so at the top: "The first free, dead-easy management system for your Myspace layouts."
younqxquizit
im lookingg but i dont see anything that says free on http://fixtatik.com/ lol
JackRapington
Thats because you are going to the home page. go to http://fixtatik.com/fixtatikms
younqxquizit
aight (:
thanks .
last question though lol
where do i go to next?
Mikeplyts
^What do you mean?

Anyways, at first I made "dummy" accounts for my layouts. Then, I tried MyLayoutHost.com. Finally, I decided I would just use cB. :D

lol .
nahh.
cause i heard from a lot of people that there stuff gets deleted from mylayouthost.com
[i think it was that site.]
& iwant my layouts to show up on a myspace (:

&& i meant likee after i went on that site http://fixtatik.com/fixtatikms i wanna know where do i go to next. ? so likee i guess you call it layout hosting.
younqxquizit
i forgot to say.
like okay.
sorry for bothering .

i was reading the site
that you guys gave me.

http://fixtatik.com/fixtatikms

Installation:

1. After you download FMS, open "fms-config.php," located in the "includes/" folder. Change the corresponding information to reflect your server, and save it.
2. Upload everything to your site.
3. Browse to http://yoursite.com/fms/ (or to whichever directory you uploaded).
4. Install. Done.

& it said your site. i dont have a site though im doing this stuff on myspace.
iwant the stuff in the blogs' & then i wanted to have a preview link of a myspace page showing my layout that i made :D so can i still do it or what?!
Mikeplyts
No I think that it won't work with myspace. And I think you're thinking about CreateBlog (cB) because MyLayoutHost accepts everything and they give a live preview and a code and stuff. Other than that, I would just make dummy accounts or get free webhosting like BraveHost.
younqxquizit
okay . imma try it tomorrow (: & if i have any problems can i pm you or somethinq?
Mikeplyts
sure. _smile.gif
Mickey
I recommend just submitting your layouts onto createBlog. Then you can just link them on your website like Rachael does on her MySpace. That way, you won't have to host it on your site, you won't waste your space or bandwidth, and the codes and previews are automatically set up for you.
younqxquizit
ok ok i see (:
lol

so i went on rachels' sitee. & i clicked her layout link & it took me to a whole bunch of layouts all together.
can i do it like one by one..

like she had pagess . but i just wanna show my layouts one by one understand ?! lol
Mickey
I think you clicked on the wrong link. You're supposed to click on the thumbnails she made. Those take you to this kind of page, for example.
younqxquizit
i knoo it shows that

http://www.createblog.com/layouts/preview.php?id=22457

but iwant it to show that lol can i?
Mickey
Of course. Just submit your layout and when it gets accepted, take the link the way you took that link and you're done.
younqxquizit
okayy.
i see noww.
thank you so muchh :D
