seriously? When i was in kindergarten some girl smothered soap all over my eyes and me and her both got sent to the corner
and no they didnt even bother trying to get the god damn soap out
(For some reason they thought it was a smart idea to get a bar of soap and a cheese grater and have us play with that, i know it was meant for something but i forget)

That's messed up. I remember reading somewhere a long time ago about a little boy, like a 5 year old or something, drowning another little boy in a puddle. It was an "accident." I don't remember what happened with that though

That is so pathetic!
This reminds me of this guy at my school who was charged with Sexual Assult in 8th grade because he was playing "Are you Nervous" with a girl on the bus and then she told her mom. It's really dumb that he would get in trouble, because they point of the game is to stop when the person says they are nervous.. So it's not like he was like "Too bad! I want to keep playing!"

I'm assuming it's the game where someone sees how far they can get their hand up someone's leg without the person freaking out. We called it something else, can't remember what.

I don't get why some of you are so WTF at the kid getting in trouble. He's 9 years old, for goodness sakes; he knows that stabbing some other kid with a pencil isn't exactly 'safe' and that it would get in him trouble.
My mom was accidentally (really; the kid tripped) stabbed in the arm with a pen when she was in school. She still has a green dot on her arm.

^ i think they are more WTFing about how there were charges pressed on the kid.

Maybe I'm a cynical bitch, but I think the kid (or the kid's parents) deserved it. Teach your damn kids that violence is not the answer!

its not cynical of you. Though i dont think there should have been charges, it would have made sense so suspend or even expell the kid. Though the parents should be scolded for not teaching their son better.

Sorry Natalie, be he f*cking stabbed the girl.

no its alright. Though i heard how these kids buried their friends head in sand and they were just playing around but they ended up actually killing him and they never got charged even after they saw that their friend was in trouble.
idk maybe im just looking at this too lightly...how deep was the stab though?

Nov 24 2008, 09:42 PM
^Not enough to receive serious medical attention, but it still punctured her skin.
And that sand situation, OMG! What a horrid f*cking thing. How old were they, do you know?

hmm still i think charges are a bit overedge though believe me im
aware that something like that is serious but atleast expell the kid and get him some imediate help
I think the kids were 10

Different city, different judge, different sentence. It's sad and unfair, but that's just how it is.

Reminds me of a story my a teacher was telling me about.
A bunch of third graders planned on killing/kidnapping there teacher because she sent one of there friends to the corner. They were found them with rope, knives (rusty old butter knives I believe), and other blunt objects. They were caught before anything happened. The little girl who was sent to the corner was the one rallying the kids up to get the teacher.

It's like... dude you're in the third grade. WTF.
Watching too much violent television, I presume?

There are far too many stories about young people being violent... I think the most disturbing story I've heard is the one about Jamie Bulger. I just can't understand why any ten-year-old boy would do such horrifying things to a two-year-old.
I get all choked up and disgusted every time I think about it.

I remember I saw a story about a kid around 13 or somethin and he was a big fan of wrestling. One day his neighbor (I think she was 8) came over to his house and played baseball with him when her parents werent home. He accidentally knocked her out when the baseball hit her head. And instead of calling for help, he killed her by performing all these wrestling moves on her. (Broke a few of her bones, too)
His mom ended up finding her stuffed underneath his bed. I think it was a documentary I saw on television a few years ago.

Actually, my little sister was stabbed with a pencil in 4th grade. She still has the mark (she's in the 8th grade now), and you can still see the graphite in her arm. The kid was seen by the teacher doing it, but they didn't do anything about it. Regardless to say, my parents weren't very happy with the administration at that school.

My god that's horrible. It's not like the kid knew any better. Little kids always fight with each other. It was the damn adults that gave the kids the "weapons."
