I agree, the decent one you've picked was RX-8. You need a car you can handle, not some sports car. Get a GTI. Stylish, yet powerfull enough for a newbie. But if you arn't the hatch-back type, SAAB 9-3 is good.

u have such a large variety...first u need to decide if u want an suv, a sedan, or sports coupe.

here are my choices:
suv = rx330
sedan = tsx
sports = rx-8...i test drove this car before, and it was a disappointment. it's pretty slow in my opinion...but hey, w/e floats ur boat.

Whats up with 16 year olds buying Ferraris and then crashing them because they can't handle it? I say GTI, because its good for a beginner and its got more than enough BHPs for a beginner. R32s are a waste of money.

Telling from your choices, you look like you're aiming for a car that can carry some people around, so try looking at the Mitsubishi Evo 8, or the Subaru Impreza WRX Sti. The Evo comes stock with an intercooler, a completely functional carbon fiber center wing, and 271 horses. The Sti is pretty much the same package, except it's backed up by 300 horses and 300 lb-ft. of torque. Both are turbocharged, all wheel drive sedans, so that means you have a car that you can lug your friends around in, but can also eat most cars on the road for lunch. Also, if you live in an area that receives snow, the all wheel drive will come in handy. If you're interested and would like to learn more, visit mitsubishimotors.com and subaru.com.

Also, why would you want an SUV right now? You're still a kid man. If you think the Evo and Sti are not exactly what you're looking for, check out the new Honda s2000, Celica GTS or Acura RSX. Although, the s2000 and Celica only carry 2 people(I know celica has a rear seat, but it's EXTREMELY uncomfortable for the passengers ). The RX8 looks nice, and they look dope when hooked up but I dont trust that rotary engine.
