wow this thread is pretty old, so aznlunatik, did u even decide on which car ur getting yet?

you're looking to get a first car and you're considering an rx8? please do us all a favor and don't get a rear wheel drive sports car as your first car.. it'll be a huge mistake. before i got my s2000, i drove a 95 stickshift camry for 3 years. if i would have started out with an s2000 i wouldn't know my limits and would probably be dead right now. wait till you're a little older and have some driving experience before you consider a car like that.
and SUV wouldn't be a good choice either, i mean.. c'mon.. what are you? a soccer mom?
oh, and by the way, don't look at brand new cars from the dealership, they're a waste of money.

umm anything but a new car is a waste of money..
yah they have the lemon laws and u are able to check on the VIN.. but u can still hide certain things done to a car.-- and yes i do know what im talking about here, my dad co owns a dealership.
the best and safest bet is to lease a car. you have it for like 3 yrs pay a monthly payment and bam get to pick out a new car.
out of all those cars... i like the RX8 orrr if ur going to pick a beemer why not a 5 series or a Z3 or something .. even the x5 looks better then the X3...

i think its really dumb for parents to buy their kids an overally expensive car for their first car.. get themone when they graduate college thats really nice or something. odds are the kid will trash or possibly crash their first car.

Personally I was a Mitsibishi Lancer or Subaru WRX STI. I would choose one of those.........the STI is in high 20s and the lancers is in low 20s.
If you want a nice car you need the money.........personally I have a pretty poor family so Im getting an Accent for like 9k.
But to tell you the truth, it all depends on insurance. Guys get screwed over on insurance till 25 so you prolly wont be getting any really good car.
Few cars with not killing insurance would be your Eclipses, Celicas, and Mustangs.

just get a civic or anything in that range, if u get a fast rear-wheel drive car at first. your probably going to crash since it is your first time driving, and a FWD car would be better to learn off of

Both are turbocharged, all wheel drive sedans, so that means you have a car that you can lug your friends around in, but can also eat most cars on the road for lunch. Dont forget the wrx sti's torque kicks in at higher rpms... While evos kick in at 3500... I think this kids bullshitting... He dosent know what hes talking about... Let alone the money for it

mazdas are rotary engine,not that great, no not solara- shitty, tsx not bad but its 4 banger, get TL if u want a better car,tC is nice lookin but weak but i think they mite have a option of a supercharger for it soon for liek 1 grand, mazdas r crap pretty much rx-8 r nice but wont last u that long, haha eclispse...ur funny, and yeah skyline? expensive i mean real expensive
id get a g35, evo,STI,or wrx,mustang 05? dunno much about it tho, if u want a nice speed car yet kinda crappy interior neon srt-4 almost as fast as the evo or sti its about 20 grand standard but not great interior

RX 8 or the RX 330. depending on your needs... if u don't need a big car get the RX8.. i can tell u for sure u'll love it.
ML 350 for sure... haha dun like rx8 : P
dude if u could get a ml 350 u coul get an evo or sti cheaper....get that if not for more class get a g35
