what do you think it is? i mean they basically lost everything.

what do you think will happen to sarah palin? do you think she'll go back to alaska, look out her window at russia and we'll go back to not knowing who the hell she is? or do you think she's the "new face of the republican party" as some people keep saying.

i hope this turns out to be a good look for the republicans and they can redeem themselves and get back to their roots. dropping all their radical social conservative bullshit would greatly help imo and then they could get back to what they are supposed to believe in. someone needs to take over and tell the christian right to just shut the fuck up and stop running the party into the ground with their moral obsessions and what not.

A lot of people are predicting her to take over Ted Stevens seat if he wins. I still stand by my notion that she wasn't ready for prime time, but I think that she would have a better grasp of it.

This will definitely be a critical time for the republicans as it was for the democrats under Bush. They will come back strong though, and with a person like Obama in office, hopefully they WILL get back to their roots. They need to get younger, because the democrats have a lot of young people coming down the pipeline right now.

Hopefully. What a joke.

i agree.

Palin isn't going ANYWHERE. After her term is over, she'll probably run for Senate. And she'll definitely be positioned as one of the new leaders of the GOP; her and Bobby Jindal (whom I actually like).
