Umm is my cgi_bin supposed to be in public_html folder?

I think it was then i deleted it. sometimes it comes back but it hasnt.

And know i need it.

But it is in the public folder.

So what do i do?

If i just make a folder called cgi-bin will it be the same.

Or is there some sort of secret hidden thing in the cgi-bin folder that isnt in normal ones. My host is hostmonster and i have cpanel.

Nothing?

Your website files probably go in public_html.
