Okay so I don't mean to rant but.. can't we all just call it quits with the Twilight layouts and graphics? I mean god, theres three Twilight layout on the main page. I know that people like it and all but damn. There should be a limit to one Twilight submitted layout per person.

It's starting to irk me. Lmao.

All fads subside and wane. Just give it time. A couple of major things happened this year in the Twi-verse (the final book came out and the film based on the first novel opens this month) so it's understandable that a lot of graphics would have Twilight related subject matter.

Just be patient. ;)

I was surfing through recent layouts yesterday and all that I could remember was Twilight.

I agree that there's way too much, but like everyone said, it will die out. The movie comes out November 21st, so it will probably slow down a little while after that.

i love Twilight and all, but i agree. plus the majority of the stuff is crappily made.

Trends come and go. Eventually the layouts and graphics won't be as popular, as the standard will increase since there are so many. Then, hopefully, people will get the hint and not submit as many. It's funny when a big movie (like The Dark Knight) comes out and we get a lot of submissions using it.

Why wouldn't it? Within a month after the movie comes out, the amount of stuff made will definately go down. The same thing happens when Harry Potter movies or books come out. Right now there is nothing happening in the HP world, so there really aren't any graphics.

You know, I haven't even checked out the layouts on cB for like...years now, so I have no idea what y'all are talking about, what with Jonas Brothers XD.

I don't mind the trend in the graphics/layouts so much as the.... sameness and crappiness to all most of them.

I think that this is, by far, the best Twilight layout I've ever seen. If all of them were like that, I wouldn't mind the madness so much.

it's their prerogative to make the kind of layouts they like... i think as long as each one by the user is different enough there shouldn't be a problem.

Here's the thing - if a designer wants a lot of people to use their layouts wouldn't they create designs based on what a lot of people like? A LOT of people like Twilight so it makes perfect sense that we'd see a lot of Twilight material.

And being a popular designer does mean designing things that people will want. Rebs was spot on with that one.

I been going here for awhile now (finally joined sadly) and all those repeated layouts is very annoying.
