I'm not really sure. I'm assuming it would have healed on it's own eventually.

what hurt the most for you guys?
hurts like shit for me to swallow, i don't know if my throat is sore or if that just makes muscles in my mouth or something move and pulls on where the teeth came out. that's what's killing me most right now though.
also, keep wanting to feel of my stitches with my tongue

Wow you're still on this? and don't worry, after a month or two the pain will go away! get some cotton in between those gums though.

lol damn, i just realized i started this topic like two years ago and i just now finally got them out.
cotton between my gums suckssssssss. spent like 4 hours with my mouth shoved full of bloody gauze yesterday.

just take Advil and Tylenol and vicodin later at night, that's how I did it and it prevented pain for me a lot!
