My stepdad told us yesterday morning, and I almost started bawling because I'd thought he'd said she'd been murdered.
It's still so horrid.

It's all really sad. They had breaking news stories on all the regular channels when it happened...Not sure if they did that everywhere or just in Chicago.
I hope they find the boy.

I don't think that the boyfriend did it. My whole thing is this:
After watching so many episodes of Law & Order and what not, doesn't the law state that he can't be held if he has not been charged with anything?

Here's the thing, the guy was on parole and I think that he might have had a parole violation.
This also stands out to me:
QUOTE
About the time the first bodies were found, Mr Balfour's parole agent reached him by phone after he missed a meeting with him that day.
as does this:
QUOTE
Mr Balfour, Julian's stepfather and estranged husband of Hudson's sister, had served seven years for attempted murder and hijacking.

Right that has all already been out. My whole thing is that if they haven't charged him with anything, LEGALLY, they have no right to hold him no?!

I realize that it's not breaking news. lol But, if he broke parole, yes they can. At least that is my understanding.

Damn, he's been found dead?
Heartbreaking.
If the boyfriend did have accomplices, I hope he confesses.
