Soo I just bought this black, mini high-waisted skirt that I'm in love with (and yay it was on sale!) and yeh. The most simple look is to wear it with the white button down, but I want more ideas and I don't know, haha. Any suggestions? Cause I wanna get this look right...I've seen it gone terribly wrong so yeah. =p

You could wear it with a printed flowy top since I think the contrast between the softness of the shirt and the structure of the skirt would be cool. Or you could wear a structured shirt -- like a corset or something -- and that would be good too. I like this shirt I found on Forever 21:

Or oooh! You could do the current plaid thing

and wear it with some ankle booties!

Oh yeah, my friend has one of those and usually wears it in a fashion similar to what Julia posted.
