Is there ever a time where a certain song, or what someone says can make you feel real emotional for no apparent reason?
whenever that happens to me i usually fall into a deep thought. Usually its music that can get me emotionally attacked sometimes.
How about you?

Radiohead - Creep.

It gets me every time.

I Wanna Grow Old With You by Westlife gets me.

Gackt's voice. I was rolling around in bed yesterday and I couldn't sleep until I listened to a few of his songs.

It's mainly the music that makes me feel anything if at all. The lyrics are just a tiny part.

i blame a stupid boy for making me cry after i listened to delicate by damien rice. The passionate singing/mellow guitar playing got me reminiscing.

but it's okay, this emotion was quickly countered by damien rice's rootless tree. he somehow sings "fcuk you" in the most beautiful, mellow way.

damien rice is suitable for all emotions!

Requiem For A Dream - Clint Mansell

and

A Modern Myth

I hate feeling vulnerable, especially towards songs, but i can't really help it. Instrumentals are the key to building me up and breaking me down.
shanaynay
Some songs do, but not largely. Like creepy suspensful songs make me paranoid. stuff like that. Songs I can sing to seem to have more of an affect :p.

Imogen Heap: Hide and Seek. Does me every time. If this song played while I was about to kill someone, that man is spared.

I tend to be easily affected by music in general, so it's not uncommon for even a small part of a mediocre song to make me feel "moved" in some way. Must be because I put a lot of emotion into my own performances, so I tend to listen for these things in other artists.

Ya, that song is so good! Usually, elton john, harry chapin, america, old music like that gets me thinking. Probably cause my dad played it when I was younger.

You know, the typical version doesn't do that for me but there's an acoustic one out there that rips me apart.

Wake Up Alone - Amy Winehouse. It's difficult for me to listen to, even though it's a beautiful song.

The Masterplan - Oasis. I'm not entirely sure why this song makes me emotional, but it does.

...so i can't tell if you're serious or not. laugh.gif
either way, that's an amazing song.

but Stop This Train by John Mayer always gets me. it's about the mess between adolescence and adulthood, so I think TONS of people can relate to it, whether they're a teen or in their 20's/early 30's. depends on whenever you move out of mommy and daddy's. whistling.gif

An ex of mine makes me feel all lovey for no reason, especially when he's being nice (cause he's usually a total hot-head)
Some songs make me feel gushy, but I get myself out of it because I don't believe in Love.
datass
