I was looking at this really amazing pixel of a castle the other day, and it reminded me of how much I wish I could make them myself. The good ones are so cute. I've tried a million times, but they always look horrible.

Is there anything design-related that you've always wanted to be able to do but you just can't seem to get right?

Hands. I can never do people's hands.

I used to be able to vector images, but I'd get to the details and stop. I'd start with a human and end up with an alien creature. And not in a cool way, haha. I've never been able to get hair right... it's either too much or not enough.

Vectoring hair, eyes, edges of things...ergh I hate it all. I can't seem to transition smoothly. I've very impatient. I would much rather vector skin all day because the variations in tone are gradual and easy to see.

Hmm, when I vector (which hasn't been in a whiiile), I can never seem to do the lips well. Oh, and fckin eyelashes.

I forgot about the pen tool. I can't figure that out to save my life.

I wish I had the patience to make realistic vectors at all. I tried one once and got half the skin on the face done, but I gave up because it takes forever. I can only vector 2D little animals and food.

i wish i could actually do a vector. I fail so hard its sad. I need to look for some tutorials on them.

i know how to do some of it on psp 9 with animation shop 3 too.<3


but with designs i think my area that's hard for me is cutting people out UGH
and layering.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I technically know how to make them, I just can't get the shapes and such right...if that makes sense.

OH GOD YES. Every time Mona would post her pen tool work I would just drool, then cringe because I'm absolutely green with envy.

I've never completely attempted a vector. I started and stopped immediately.

I can't make pixels either...

Come on people, pen tool isn't hard to figure out! You just need to be patient with it. You'll catch on.

Scrapbook style. I think it looks so good when it's done right, but I can never do it right. :(

I wish I could vector.. like, realistically. Not those little cartoons that are mega adorable.
BUT IT'S SO TIME-CONSUMING! I just do not have enough patience for that. Everything else seems faster than that.
