I hate pharmacy work. I used to want to be a pharmacist. I thought that'd be really cool, and you f**king BANK. But, then I got a job at a walgreens pharmacy and it was TERRIBLE. Walgreens is good to their empolyees, but the customers were so rude. I had to call the cops at least once a week there. It was so ridiculous.
I work at a different pharmacy now, but I still hate it just as much.
I have an interview tomorrow to make 2 dollars and hour more as a telemarketer. I REALLY want that job.

I work at Target. It has its moments. I know how to do everything in the front end of a store so I get versatility. The only problem is the people. They're so freaking rude and obnoxious. They don't realize that RETAIL WORKERS ARE HUMANS TOO.

Dairy Queen is pretty awesome, but making that fricking ice cream cone was hard. I i'm hopping I get a job at this vet, it is about a 3 dollar raise in pay and it's easy as hell.

I work at a grocery store called Foodland. It's okay there, but really all the stuff they make you do there with only 2 guys is ridiculous. You have to basically organize the whole store, fill milk, take out trash in only 4 1/2 hours. AND some bitch of a manager tried to tell me I dont even get a break.
I flipped out on her. it was fun.

I like my job at Kumon because it's pretty easy marking papers and stuff... and plus I like helping kids with stuff. 8 Rinks... not so much. It's the most boring job ever, and I don't even get paid that much. Plus sharpening skates scare me.

Yes and no. I currently have two jobs, so lets start with the first one.
I work for a small video production company that does dance recitals, corporate conferences, and lots more. I made his website, I edit videos and stuff and get paid really well so I like it for the most part. It just gets really tiring sometimes.
Next, I just started a week or so ago at this Italian gelato/dessert/coffee cafe type place...so far its pretty fun. Hard work, but fun. I obviously would rather not clean some of the stuff I have to do but its part of the job and so far I like most of the people I work with so yea. There's just sooo much to remember.

I work at a vet right now. It gets really boring since not many people come in during the afternoons. But when they do its pretty cool since I get to play with the dogs/cats and watch the doctor stick needles...
But the surgery part is not fun. The pay is actually pretty low but I'm mainly there for school.

i work at fry's electronics selling tv's. took me a while, but i got there. it has its ups and downs, alot of the people i work with either get fired, quit or get transfered, so long lasting friends are hard to come by, but some are still here and thats what's kinda keeping me here..that and the commission haha.
stories..ill make it short. the ex gf that i dumped ended up dating my department manager and got knocked up bahaha, so my ex is my managers wife. its a good thing im professional about it and hes too pussy to bring it up, work is just dandy

I'm a grad student by day, and a Linux systems administrator by...well, also by day. The sysadmin job is kind of boring, but every now and then I get to do something cool. Most of the job, though, consists of installing software, fixing hardware failures, and making a daily tape backup.

I work at a veterinary hospital.
I'm actually only a volunteer, but because I've been there for almost three years, they consider me an unofficial employee.
My duties are pretty much exactly the same as an official veterinary technician there short of taking x-rays and drawing blood/putting in catheters.
I love it there because I love my co-workers. They've become good friends of mine--even the doctor is awesome. Also, just working with the dogs and cats that come by makes it a lot of fun.
What I don't like is dealing with the owners. Sometimes, we get ones that have to be involved in everything. They need to see every procedure done to their pet to the point where they'll actually follow us from the exam room to the treatment room [we draw blood and do other more in-depth examinations in the back of the hospital].
Also, a lot of people are stupid and come to the hospital without any money.

I love my job as well as the organization. However, I thoroughly despise those who trample mud on what I represent, as well as the toll that my organization has taken on my personal life, as well as my mind. Burdens weigh heavy.
I'm not sure if I should admire the organization from afar, or remain a part of it.

I work at a kebab shop, yip I do.
It's ok for the most part apart from working until 4am and having to deal with drunk rednecks who try and pull me over the counter, or chat me up... and then there's the punch ups !
Ok... Maybe I need a new job. lol !

I'm working at Buffalo Wild Wings. The management really sucks, and a NEW guy walked out last Saturday, got the whole weekend off, and they let him have his job back today (I think its because he's an ex marine).
The crazy thing is that I offered to take ALL of his shifts, but my store manager has the last say.
It sucks, but it is still the best job I've ever had.

I heard that you can actually make super good money if you work your way up to managing a target or being an assistant manager. My friend works there and says that you can work your way up to managing like 4 targets and making loads per year.
