I had one too! i put listerine on a Q-Tip and put it on my cole sore and it stopped hurting the next day and today its completly gone : D

I've had cold sores on my lips multiple times.



I am clearly too orally active.

Nah. I had a wicked yeast infection though, that sucked.

i hate herpes. i hate it also when i tell people i got herpes and they thought it has to be the genital ones.

the thing about it is that it is everywhere. It just doesn't show for msot of the people. However it does pop up once in a while. Some say that stress can activate it but it usually goes away. Cold sores lasts for about a week i think.
I've had cold sores in the past too and between now and then; i shared drinks with my friends.

coldsores build over time.. like when your skin is fragile to the weather changes. or from body heat, like bloody noses..

it's not reallly herpes, unless you were definitely smooching on some person who has herpes. then you got a coldsore from some person who smooched with...
