I like the bg.

Feedback:
1. I don't understand why the width of the opacity is waaaay to the left and waaaay to the right and your writing is in the middle of it
2. where did the grey come from.
3. no hover link?
4. default

I've seen a lot of xangas, but I think yours is better than alot of them. good job.

Nice splaspage though the BG isn't really necessary. I think the opacity is quite perfect.

it looks nice! i would try and change the splash page...instead of putting the same image over the bg . ur blog looks really nice tho!
