Put a huge picture of yourself with a cheasy smile and a cartoony crown stuck on top of your head.

I'd vote for anyone that did that.

Vector yourself. Vector graphics are very cool.
Gigi
Yes, vector yourself! People lap that shit up. Seriously. It doesn't even have to be nice. In fact, the more graphic it is, the better. Keep it simple with 5 or less colours and a small amount of layers. Great visual impact.

i was thinking of doing that, a vector of my self like that OBAMA Vector that says HOPE.

but the thing is that i dont know how to do vectors im not really good with the pentool.. can anyone help me with the vector ??

something like this:
vector OBEY GIANT
Gigi
If you have a steady hand, just use a lasso tool. It won't be perfect but it'll be good enough.

To prove it...

^ I've never even TOUCHED a pen tool making this.
technicolour
^ OMG I REMEMBER THAT! THAT WAS AMAZING!

You just need to make sure you have a really good picture of yourself. The raw photo must be well lit and well shadowed for the vector effect to look good.

Thanks!

If you have any questions about vectoring, there are a crapload of tutorials around here somewhere, or just ask in this topic again.
Melissa
lol, vectoring is fun.

i've never been able to do realistic vectoring though; i'm a lot better at abstract. my newest love is gradient vectors <3

do i need adobe illustrator or can i simply do it on photoshop??
Gigi
Photoshop is fine. There's a pen tool on there too, and you CAN create "real" vectors, contrary to popular belief.

We totally had a debate topic about this before, but what I said is true. Believe it.
technicolour
^ You can!

Man. That debate brought me to tears laughing my butt off.

And I've done all of my Vexels/Vectors/WHATEVER in Photoshop. Works perfectly fine. All you need is practice and patience.
Gigi
That debate was RETARDED. Dude, if you rasterize on Illustrator, it ain't a vector either. stubborn.gif People are just stubborn.
