Since it probably wasn't Microsoft that created these ads, it's not a big deal. It was created on a mac, but with a software than could be installed on a PC.

I don't think it's that big of a deal... I mean, Macs are primarily used for design and PCs are usually used for business-related things. So what's so wrong about using a Mac to design a PC advertisement?
Though, I do have to admit it's kind of funny.
