yesterday i was inspired to make a nemo desktop.. didn't really know what i wanted, & came up with this.

what should i add? what should i get rid of? what can i improve on? be as harsh as you want lol. this is only my second time making a wallpaper.

//EDIT 09-13-08: i put the crush back on bc i really like it.. & i used a cleaner font.

my main focus was supposed to be the image on the bottom left.. but i knew i needed to put something else in the background, & came up with the film strip-type background. should i change that?

Uh, that big picture of Crush in the bottom right corner is UUBER DISTRACTING, like WHOA. If you 86-ed that, it'd be a pretty decent wallpaper to me, IMO.

Yeah get rid of Crush, and I think it would be good.

maybe brighten up the other photos?

I love it. Good job! Although, I liked it with Crush in the corner.. but it looks good the way it is now too!

I think getting rid of Crush was a bad move. It looks way too boring now. Well to me at least. It kind of seems like you just plastered some images together and put text there. I think Crush gave it a little extra....something.

Yeah, I liked when Crush was in the corner as well. Maybe try putting him back in, but get rid of all that fluff around him. I think that's what made it distracting.

but the 'fluff' came from one of those blurry round brushes... i didnt want to make crush look too cut out.. how can i make it less fluffy?

Regarding Crush being in the corner, I think it depends what you want the focus of the wallpaper to be on. Do you want people to focus on the scenes in the filmstrip or on Crush?

I don't think the font for "finding nemo" and the other quote match the whole Finding Nemo theme.

I really like the second version the best.
