Hm, I've actually been trying to pull things together. On the global side of things, I need to get in touch with Jusun because there are site related issues that I would really like to see happen (like arcades and some layout navigation concerns).

I'll just be candid, because I know that you're talking about James. What rule(s) is he breaking? I'm not turning a blind eye and I do see that there are some potentially troublesome posts but I'm not seeing anything that problematic yet.

PS, I do care (and I think that you know that). I can be soft though, maybe too soft at times and I tend to exercise a great deal of patience, for better or for worse.

James gets into way too much conflicts with other members (and I don't feel like I need to link posts for saying that). I know that doesn't necessarily go against the mod guidelines, but it sho' don't help mod/member relations look good.

I think James should be promoted to Jusun status. I mean, think about it, he's spent probably half his life (with Anna) attempting to take over Createblog. I think he deserves it, especially considering he wants it so badly. With James as Jusun, the forums will be able to progress in a positive direction!

i think the staff just seems really dull right now. we're all noticing javonn because he's almost the only one that seems to have a personality or be active. mostly everyone else either doesn't' appear to be very active, or are so boring that whatever they do gets forgotten almost immediately.

yeah. i just looked at the moderating list and realized i hadn't seen like half of them. or maybe i just don't know who they are.

Because staff/member relations are WEAK, once again.

We really need some either new moderators, or somehow bring the mods back and get them "hip"

Thanks for the kind words guys...much appreciated. I think the lack of activity for some mods has to do with children, and other responsibilities. Let's cut them a break, as a lot of them have lives outside of cb that are very hectic, and that they must tend too as well.

The Design Staff is actually really active and helpful. A lot of staff members have their certian forums that they tend to gravitate towards, just like members do. There have been a few select staff members that haven't been around much, but I don't think it's the majority.

Unfortunately, that's not what most of the community is thinkin' at the moment (Design Staff aside, I'm not exactly in any position to say anything about them).

I know they aren't. But looking through the rest of staff's posts even, you can see that they have been doing things. Of course, I'm not here to defend them. They can show you that they are active by posting here themselves, lol.

(Of course, with all the people saying that CB is dead, there isn't much to mod)

If being active is posting ten character responses to inane jack-assery and replying with the occasional emoticon to posts conjured by lower-than-human intelligence... sure, I'm not active.
