Sorry, but I really got offended by this comment you said, because you really act like Trish is above as all, and that she is on some kind of "level" that is higher than ours. Also, to add to this, perhaps you're right, Jusun. Maybe we have done something similar in the past. Sorry, I didn't mean to" or whatever. HOWEVER, Trish never owns up to shit. She can't admit to being wrong. She said it herself that IT "DESERVED NO CREDIT", WHEN CLEARLY IT DOES DESERVE CREDIT.

I think the thing isn't really about Trish using the image without crediting; it's more about her not being able to say she was wrong and should have given credit.

i apologize, it was a stupid thing to say. i didn't mean to put Trish above everyone else, i dont believe that. i was expressing my frustration over the whole situation, considering that most people learn how to web design first by imitating other designs, and more often than not, not crediting them. most designers would readily agree with me on that fact, so i found it annoying when people who aren't designers were so ready to attack her (without knowing the real situation behind "jocking" - everyone did it at one point in their designing 'careers'). but this doesnt excuse Trish from brushing everything away, considering her reaction to Mike's previous mistakes.

Ever since I was on staff we've always come to the agreement that if it's a few pages back (or one, too, I suppose) that it's okay to leave the image tags, so that the person who's reading the post wouldn't have to search through previous pages to find it. I understand why people say that the image tags should go, because when someone quotes the image the URL is still there and is still able to be clicked (if the person quoted it right). With that being said, a lot of people have high speed internet... so it shouldn't take THAT long for an image to load.

As for the whole image tag thing, it was discussed some Backstage, and I just posted this in the current Members' Photos topic:


People don't need to click back through the pages to find the photo that's being discussed. Instead, they can click the red arrow in the quoted post, which will take them back to the original post with the photo in it. Simple. That's what the red arrow is there for.

I think the biggest deal is, that the items that James posts are pretty border line and it sometimes kind of shines through that he tries to put out things that are "border line". I think at the time James (people staff) did the best he could have, he disabled your posting until the staff could come together on a decision on what to do about it all. At the time you were spamming around and posting videos and such.
