how are you liking the studio sculpt? i've heard mixed reviews so i'm on the fence about it.

sometimes i get really good results but then sometimes i get cakey during mid-morning. idunno, cause it's not like i apply it using different methods everyday. i always use my fix+ then moisturizer, 187 brush and skinfinish natural to set. i still haven't figured it out :(!

Christina, I think I used a green pigment from a Canadian drugstore brand not available in the US (I think the colour was Eco Chic and the brand is Annabelle). But under that I used Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Covet smudged on the lid as a base.

I loooove Annabelle, I wish they would sell it in the States.

goofipinay, that's actually really good for your first try!! I think all you needed was to curl the lashes and use some mascara to really finish it off.

Well, I only have one thing from Cargo, and it's this:

In Dark/Neutral. It's ~$32 USD at Sephora. Some people have complained about the colors being chalky and that it was "expensive". I think it depends on how you pair up the colors, and choosing the right combo. I swatched each color on my hand to make sure palette's colors weren't chalky. It definitely has A LOT of product in it! MAC, UD, and Stila, and Lancome e/s are usually 0.04-0.05 oz. each. Cargo's palette has about 0.16 oz. for each color, so it will last a really long time. For me, it's a really good investment. My best friend likes Cargo products as well. :] Definitely test out the colors and see if they work for you! Staying power is good and it's definitely pigmented. Colors are true to color on my skin. I haven't had any complains about it.


Ninja, I got my hair cut the day before comic-con. I even posted up pictures on FB and cB the same night I cut it! haha yea I got it cut and now I look more "asian/fob", as my friends say.

And wow @ the Cargo palette, that's like.. as much as you can fit in a MAC 16 palette. :3 You make me wanna try it now, haha.

Bronzer's nice, but you definitely need the right brush to pick up enough product and dispel it properly. So either use a dense brush, or a something similar to a fan brush (i.e. mac 184) to create the 3 on your face for contouring. My ecotools blush brush is dense, but too soft to apply it properly. This is probably due to the texture of the bronzer being slightly creamier.

As for the illuminating finishing powder - waste of money. Don't buy it. In fact, I only have it because it came with the bronze glow set. I can't believe that piece of shit is $32. I'd rather spend $32 on the Cargo neutral e/s set any day than the illuminating powder. The powder has so much glitter on it! I used very little of the product. It's also hard to pick up, even with my dense gloMinerals kabuki (which I love love love). In addition, I'd rather not use my fingers to apply it, since it's hard to apply all-over products with your fingers. In addition, since it's really sheer, it's not pigmented, and I don't think it really did much except make my face look glittery. It's in between shmmery and glittery.

I don't think they have it anymore because they're released new make up this month..well, at least here in florida they did. I think i went over it with regular eyeliner as well. the twist up kind. :) probably almay-nothin' special.

I don't curl them. I just slap a little bit of some covergirl mascara on there. :)

Steph - woah, I agree, I love the blending in the first one! I'm scared to try out any reddish/pink e/s because my skin's kind of yellow. I saw a friend of mine with a reddish/pink color and it was "NO GOOD", but it looks amazing on you! I have a sheer/neutral light pink e/s that I use as an all-over lid color, but that's as far as I can go. using e/s as a liner is really fun, and I feel like I can get such a smoother and finer line, compared to pencil or my fluidline.


What brand were those? I love how they look so natural. My friend once got glue on her eye and it was ack for her. She got it out though. I'm scared of that happening. ;/

Uhh...they're called "Spring Heart" by Koji I think, I got the #6 ones. I believe I got them at CitySuper for like...$30-ish HKD. I don't want to try them out now though, since I don't have any good eyelash glue (and don't want to use the one that came in the package). =\
