omfg 1, i white guy in feudal japan is unheard of, he would have been cut as soon as he was born, plus omg a white guy trying to be asian, that movie pisses me off, tom cruise should be shot for that

i absolutely loved that movie. it made me cry like 4 times..and i dont usually cry in movies. only movies that ive actually like shed tears watching was this movie and passion of the Christ

lol i wasn't surprised. theres alotta movies that make you think is gonna be about one race like the mexican, but it stars brad pitt. but i liked the movie, 2nd favorite movie of all time for me

i almost never cry in movies but my eyes got kidna wattery at the end because it was such a good movie and they didnt make it longer hahaha

0. I would score higher, but there's no way Tom Cruise could be the last samurai. He's not Japanese.

I won't give it a rating. There's no way Tom Cruise can be a samurai... not to mention, the last one. He should just stick with Mission Impossible and all those war movies that don't have to involve foreigners.

the last samurai was tom cruise cause all the other samurais died in the war and he was the only samurai still alive...i think tom cruise should of died cause that would make the movie better cause most of the times the good guys never die (and thats so obvius)................i think they should make another movie of the last samurai but this time the 2 little kids are the main actors in it (and they go to war when they grow up)

i saw it on dvd!! omg.. i was crying.. and i rarely cry in ani american made movies.. haha it was sad at the end... >=/

That movie was so good, my family went to watch it twice and then we bought it on dvd, funny but it does make me cry everytime i see it.

It was kind of hard to believe, but it was still pretty good & got me teary-eyed at the end, so I give it a 8/10.

I know a lil kendo lol but the Last Samurai is a good movie... Tom Cruise shouldnt of been the star.. someone else.. hes too.. Mission impossible lol its hard to get that image of him as hes trying to keep himself with it (mtv movie awards)

Id give it a 8....that was a very awesome movie~~ Id give it a 10 but there are other movies that are a bit better than the last samaurai so I gave it a 8....but still its an awesome movie~
