I was talking with friends and they said this new school year they are going to act "brand new" aka they are going to act like they don't care about anyone or anything. I think I'm just going to be friendly and more mature than last year.
whats your new school year attitude?

Go to all classes.
Do all assignments.
Not fall for peer pressure when it comes to hanging out instead of doing homework.

I'm going to try to restrengthen friendships, especially with people who I've drifted apart from but used to be good friends with.
And learn good study habits before I go off to college.

I told myself I wouldn't skip in senior year but I totally did. We are allowed to have a maximum of 60 unexcused absences - any higher than that and you won't be allowed to graduate. I had 52...!!
This year, meet lots of people, join lots of clubs, have as much fun as I possibly can. Oh, and study hard, no procrastinating!

I think I just want to study more. I usually turn in my homework & I don't plan on missing class unless I absolutely have to, which will be rare. I also want to meet new people, make new friends, keep my current friendships strong, & join lots of clubs & orgs.

as everybody has already said, better study habits. I've only been in school for a few weeks, but I've got my mind set on going to college early, so i have a lot of good reasons.
also, I'm actually trying to be more quiet this year. I've always been shy and such, but now I'm just trying to keep to myself and only speak if I'm being spoken to. it sounds crazy, but it has definitely helped with the school first thing.

I want to reach my tutor's standards and become a great graphic designer. I was never really concentrated on schoolwork but this time, I'm doing something I want to do so I'm going to be really focused for once. I'm going to try and make friends as well and not wait until it's the other way around.

Oh, DEFINITELY meet a lot of people. I totally failed these past two days at orientation because my clan was full of people who REFUSED to talk to each other. But then I ditched my clan for another and met two cool guys. Hopefully I'll meet more at Frosh..
Maybe even that hot student president...

You were allowed to miss 1/3 of the school year?!
luckyyy

^ Nah it only comes down to 15 full days of school (4 blocks a day, and each time you miss one it counts for one absence). But it's still ridiculous.

I wish I could make friends, but I doubt that's going to happen.
Uhm so other than that, I'd say probably less procrastinating. I'm pretty bad about waiting til' the very last second to get things done.
^Seriously, Gigi, you're lucky for being able to even miss school. Even when I was in public school, I never skipped a class in my whole life. The only time I actually missed school was if I was like puking or like I was so bad off that I had to go to the hospital.

I'm just trying to stay a step or two ahead by using my syllabus & getting everything done before time, having fun, & just staying on top of things and hopefully I'd have all A's or A's and a B or 2

NO PROCRASTINATION! That's my vice.
Less internet, use only for research.
I just need to manage my time better than I did last year and juggle things better.
NO BOYS!
They'll just distract me.
Above all,
Be nice to people and honest with your feelings.

This year I am trying very hard to be more responsible and to get better grades. So far, it is working! I am also trying to gossip less, but that isn't really working...

Right before school started, it was, "DO WELL, NO PROCRASTINATION, THIS YEAR'S GONNA BE CAKE! :D"
Then it went downhill when I actually started. I love all my classes EXCEPT, my Spanish class. I have nothing against Spanish, but honestly, this woman cannot teach. And I'm not even sure if she speaks Spanish that well. There's a Mexican in my class and she says she sometimes says things wrong. Her native language is French, so I guess that's why, but Spanish is the only language course offered (ugh).
And then my last class, some class where I learn how to use Flash, with possibly the worse possible teacher. EVAR. I was looking forward to the other teacher, but the district MADE him retire that year.
ASKDANSKDNSD
Now I just wanna start with a "leave me alone" attitude where nobody bugs me so I can try focusing on school without being too cynical haha.
