And that doesn't even cover the entire semester :(
jaeminnie
Whoa, good luck paying all of that off. Are you using student loans?
Melissa
Yeah, thank god. That balance is before the loan, so it'll go down. Boy, am I NOT looking forward to paying back all those loans :(
paperplane
And that's why I'm attending a public university at which I get constant shit for not caring about football or being a TRUE DAWG FAN!!!11 Nevermind that I pay the same tuition and have as much right to be here as everyone else...

anyway...
mizzkewl06
that right there is one of the reasons why i'm glad i go to a community college. i pay less than a third of that for school.
Tung

Is that including living cost?

Anyways, woah! It's $3000 for tuition for fall quarter, so it's going to be $9000 for all 3 quarters. But I get a disbursement of $1400 each quarter. Yay free moneys! :D

man wtf Mel, that's for 1 semester?! jlfajlkljdsf Good thing I have financial aid and still live at home (here come the jokes).
Melissa
yeah :(

It includes living expenses, lab expenses, dining, and health though.

Cal States aren't expensive. I think I'm paying $1851 per semester right now. That's a big difference from what I was paying last year for high school (I went to a private, Catholic school). But then it may depend on the school shrug.gif

Oh man... that brings back memories of my education. Oh NYU, why were you so expensive?

What school do you go to, anyway?
Nevermind, I see in your signature. We're rivals, then, you and I stubborn.gif

I kid, I kid.
ChesterRevolver
damn, i'm crying for you now .
Insurmountable
Yea, at least you get free money. I can't get it because for one I'm not 18 and supposedly my dad makes to much money, but of course that doesn't mean hes going to help me pay for any of my school.
Blank-OuT
Wow... that is killer. I go to a community college right now and I'm paying about $1,900 a semester lol.
idkilikepoprocks
Wow.. you know if you study hard enough well into the year and get outstandingly good grades certain financial aid companies will sort of give you a scholarship... how it works is, they take off digits off of what you owe. I found this out through my aunt who went back to school to become a registered nurse (she was an orthodontist in a foreign country and the US didn't accept her degree here) so I'm not exactly sure which company it is.

PFT!

Princeton's my rival. You're my backup plan.

(I'm kidding, of course). I was seriously considering NYU until I visited their campus (or lack thereof) and realized it wasn't for me. It's a great school though.
hi-C
NYU has a campus! The city is our campus! tongue.gif

Honestly, I didn't miss going to a school with a traditional campus. Or a big ass gate that keeps out all the riffraff laugh.gif

I'd work as a prostitute for the hell of it if I have to pay that kind of amount by Sept 08

Exactly...I find it crazy to pay close to 50k or more a semester for school when you can get the same education from reputable state institutions...I'm happy knowing I'll graduate debt free

I find it funny that the only people who say that are people who aren't going to a private institution.
paperplane
Well assumedly no one would continue to attend a private school if they honestly thought that.
SharperMyspace
I am hoping to get scholarships. Your tuition is crazy! Good luck with that :P
