he asked me out a couple weeks ago but we've never been on a date. we haven't even seen each other since school ended 2 months ago. anyway we usually just talk on aim like almost every day. he's really immature. he always says stuff like "ugh i'm mad" and then that's it. he makes me have to ask him what's wrong. or he'll be like "i feel sick" and then not answer for like 10 minutes, then be like "sorry. i feel better now. that didn't taste good though" like what the f**k. i don't care. he says the dumbest things. he's not really my type anyway. how can i get rid of him without being too mean?

just dont talk to him for a while, he will either not talk back or ask whats whats wrong and if he does ask whats wrong then tell him the truth. Just say that he is a bit too immature and that you dont like to play the "guessing" game whenever something is wrong with him

My history with him was a pretty windy and weird one, which I regret to this day.

I play along and respond out of politeness.
But I don't go into it with the expecation that he'll answer.

You may hear her/him say something insightful for a quick second.

Don't talk to him for a little while (so I guess block him on AIM, or delete him and then make your buddy list private). If you don't want to do that, tell him that it annoys you when he talks to you in his immature, obscure way, and that you want him to talk to you normally. If he won't change, tell him to find someone else to complain to.

i don't think you should ignore him or be a bitch about it. that would be kind of immature. just be upfront & tell him that you don't see things working out between the two of you. no lies, no games. tell him that you don't see your "relationship/friendship" going anywhere and that you'd just prefer for the two of you to not go there. honesty is the best policy... as cheesy as it sounds, it works best in situations like this.

Yeah, I would just tell him. I think avoiding him will make it worse. It's better to just say how you feel and move on.

Just be blunt to him. If you talk to him or vise versa, say "yep" or "uhuh" etc.
