I wanted to know how you make a live preview of your layouts that you make for myspace. Can anybody help? I googled for hours straight couldn't find an appropriate solution. Suggestions?

Make a separate layout testing account on myspace. Is that the answer you were looking for or do you mean on Createblog? B/c all you have to do is put the codes in the correct boxes on the submission page and createblog creates the preview for you.

If you don't have your own website, you could either make a separate myspace for every layout and link them, or you could host them on a free hosting site like mylayouthost.

Just use the code myspace uses then add your layout over the top.

I have my own website, but I would like to have live previews for the layouts I have created. I have tried a hosting site like mylayouthost, but it doesn't seem to work for some of my div layouts. Any suggestions?

you locate the code by going into View > then page history or ctrl + u

Just view the source of any blank profile on myspace. Get rid of a few things and then just add layout coding after the ABOUT ME SPAN coding or wherever is relevant.

Basically you Open a file and name it the Lyt title.
And then You click edit and paste the page source in the Notepad.

But normally if your site is like..php or what the heck ever, At the end of the name you would have to put .php

um...
alot of people with their own websites just copy the source codes from myspace usually their own profile.

you can get really creative and edit the codes... remove alot of the junk not needed edit links and change images.

but way that i do it is with php includes. I split the myspace profile codes at the heroes section so all codes before that goes into a header file, and all codes under the i'd like to meet section go into a footer file.

its makes posting layouts less confusing... but i'm pretty sure all that i mention is confusing already.

mylayouthost seems like a pretty good idea, if you not really good with all the website stuff that site is your best bet.

also Fixtatik MS 1.0 looks really good, if you do have a website and access to your MySQL
