I noticed that too and asked someone when I was watching last night's episode and they said it was because they didn't sleep enough or something but I'm not too sure if that's really why.

^ i haven't watched last night's ep yet, but it happened to bill in season 2. when he doesn't sleep enough, "the bleeds" start.

Not putting spoiler tags, since it's been 3 days since the episode aired.

Lots of good moments this ep - Eric and Talbot, wow. Being staked like that is awful but the scene was so delicious. The end with Sookie/Bill I could have passed on. I'm ready for a new dynamic. I would like to see her have some action with Alcide, then Eric for a while.

Debbie cracks me up. I'm so glad she wasn't killed off. No Pam though this episode. I love Pam. :(

Also, yay Jessica time!

I'm pissed about Franklyn. Really pissed.

I'm also so damn over Sookie and Bill. GOD. I just want to take a nap when they're on screen together. And where's Alcide? WANT ALCIDE.

yeah, i feel like they did that on purpose though. some sort of foreshadowing about how humans are going to go around and start killing vamps.

and I am not looking to foreword to the whole vamp Vs. Human war, tbh.

Yeah, I liked the whole Fellowship of the Sun thing (to an extent) but the whole vampire/human war isn't interesting enough to drag on.

Speaking of completely uninteresting - Crystal. They paired one of my favorites (Jason) with the most annoying, whining, and quite frankly, the least attractive semi-season regular I've seen.

me neither if its going to be like another fellowship under the sun or whatever deal. but i'm curious to see how it pans out.

plus i hate crystal. (book spoiler) i like the whole werepanther thing that came up in the books though. is she the one who makes jason a werepanther?

It's Felton that makes Jason a werepanther and they could definitely go in that direction with True Blood, since the character has been introduced already as Crystal's fiance. I think that's Felton. I can't understand a f*cking thing that girl says sometimes.

I really didn't like the first episode of the season, but it got better with the second episode. Eric's sneaking up on Sookie in the first episode was creepy, but oddly sexy. I am looking forward to more Pam awesomeness, though.

All caught up now. I'll skip around.

LOVE Eric. There isn't enough Eric in this universe. Alexander Skarsgård is great at playing stunned (great at playing everything I've seen of him really). He even makes Sookie seem likeable.

f*ck pimp Bill Compton. I'm not much of a fan regardless, but his screen times are my bathroom breaks. That being said, he's actually looking better this season than the last couple of seasons. Perhaps if he just stands there and doesn't speak.

HATE the new, cleaner Debbie. She was more interesting white trashy. I love Alicide though.

What the hell was with the she-panther raping scene? Jesus. That's more foul than last year's Lorena head twisting sex scene.

I forgot how much one week seems too long to wait between episodes.

I think a lot of people were worried about the amnesia part of the story, but if anyone can carry that story line, it's Skarsgard (and I think it's really just proof of his acting skills). Eric said "sorry" like 5 times in the last episode, haha.

I have no idea where the Jessica/Hoyt thing is going. When I saw them fighting I was like nooooo.

I don't think Debbie will stay clean for long, so I don't mind her cleaner image as long as it doesn't take up a lot of screen time.

A year passed and Jason is still hanging out with the werepanthers. I really, really hate that story line. That last rape scene was really disturbing.

At least amnesia Eric isn't acting like a completely different Eric. I loved the scene with Pam (although the feet washing thing was weird...) and the fact that he drained Sookie's fairy godmother. His expressions are priceless.
