I'm bringing back an old idea that Diana (VonTease) brought up a while back that people seemed to like, but it just never happened (this all happened Backstage, by the way).

Basically the idea was to interview the Staff Member of the Month (and we might as well do the Member of the Month too, while we're at it) to give them the spotlight for a little while, and so the community could get to know them a little better. Who knows, it could get interesting.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea, would we archive the previous winners as far back as we could go and interview them?

Yeah archive the members haha! I love this idea though.

Ha ha, that's gonna take a lot of effort, and a lot of people aren't even around anymore. I would've just started with the next set of winners to keep the interviews fresh.

And then archive those then on.

I like the method used in the example with Chris, but I wouldn't object to any other methods. Like an actual interview, like cB news did with Jusun back in the day.

if you're going to do this, you have to have some type of rule that states that you can't win more than once a year or something. i don't want to read about the same person 3 times a year.

nah, because i think it should be a well rounded contest, where everyone should be given a chance, even if someone who has won before shines above them. the whole thing's a joke anyway.
