98 degrees.
What the hell happened to the boy bands fad? When did it suddenly stop being popular? 1990's was dominated by boy bands. 98 degrees, N'sync, Backstreet Boys, O-Town, Savage Garden, etc.

Eh, tastes change. Before Backstreet and NYSYNC was NKOTB and New Edition. And before them there was someone else. You could say that the boy band tradition continues with the Jonas Brothers.

^ OMG I love your avatar.
Like Carrie said, tastes change! Nobody wants to see/be in a boyband anymore because it's totally not 'cool'. And plus, everyone wants the fame for themselves. =P
And Backstreet Boys are still together! They're just... wayyy less popular now...

personally, i'd like to keep the boyband era in the 90's... i mean, thats what makes the 90's so amaziiing!! boybands just add to the list of why the 90's was so great for our generation, compared to how life is now... we're lucky to have boybands. kids nowadays have............... hannah montana.
but hey, i'm not ashamed to keep my nsync, bsb, 98 degrees, &all those other bands from disney channel in my itunes!!

I suddenly got this song stuck in my head. And it won't go away. WHYYYYY??!!
And hahahaha I saw New Kids On The Block on TV the other day, and I seriously cannot get over how they can still dance around and sing in painfully high voices. =\

What happens is they all decide to reunite and do creepy tours and they're like, 35 - 45 years old.
It's creepy is all I'm saying.

Savage Garden is two people, hardly a band.
They were more of a pop duo, I guess. But they wrote their own songs. Oh damn, "I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You" will probably be my wedding theme.

Darren Hayes <3 I think he's gay though - I remember reading up about him being gay. Truly, Madly, Deeply is still one of the most popular songs of all time.
lol 98 degrees. My sister had their Christmas album and their first album, BACK WHEN WE ACTUALLY BOUGHT CDS.

When Backstreet Boys were still together, N'Sync was always being compared to Backstreet Boys. Boy bands aren't as popular anymore - they're actually kind of cheesy now.
But boybands are still as popular as ever in JPN and KR. :D
Sally - 98 degrees' "I Do" - SO GOOD. <3

'N Sync was always more... dancey. And they always sang in a cappella at concerts to show off just how talented they were. BSB's where it's at because they're still awesome and not disturbing to watch despite how old they are!!!

idk backstreet boys were always more popular though, cause I always saw more stuff from them on MTV. IDK I thought BSB were good dancers too. IDK about them singing acapella though. I really enjoyed N'Sync's first album though, but I really enjoyed BSB's second album.

'N Sync's first album was their very best. Seriously, Tearin' Up My Heart = karaoke gold.
Mind you, most BSB songs are great karaoke stuff. So in that sense BSB > 'N Sync.
