After seeing 'a lot' thrown down today, I propose a section for personal disputes. That way, arguments won't be spread through out CB. A dispute can be addressed, contained, and resolved.

There should be selected Judges. Ones with great heads on their shoulders. Much like a courtroom, complaints will be addressed from both parties and the Judge, having to be unbiased, makes a ruling on who is in the wrong or right.

I know that theres the feedback section already but do you want your feedback section turned to a personal dispute section?

Wouldn't the role of the judge technically fall under the responsibility of an admin?

^ Right. That's exactly what I was wondering, who would be the judge. Although that might fall under the mentor category more than the admin... I don't know if I like the sound of this. It sounds a little complicated.

I don't know... I can kind of see the logic in this, especially in trying to keep things unbiased, but in all honesty most problems do actually get resolved one way or the other, even if it does ruffle some feathers in the process. I'd be concerned that adding an official process to it would just slow things down, waiting for all parties to be available, etc.

They could assign ppls.

But yeah, I guess it would be too complicated.

I can appreciate this suggestion, especially given recent disputes. I'm just not sure if something like this would really work with this particular community.

While I feel what your saying, and I'd be glad if cB had a fairer "justice" system, I think we'd be much better off if we simply had better mods.
