So I got an e-mail saying that I was selected to participate in the closed beta for the best mmorpg of all time soon to be released in September ;). They use the torrent system to download the install file which is 9GB.
...Lets just say I have never downloaded a torrent file which this many leechers... ever. Take a look :o



Crazy huh? It's almost done, I'm getting pretty excited. I got the invitation through my blackberry and thought I would be the first one to hop on the download... Nope, 800 leechers at 2:00a.m. But man, this is just ridiculous =P.
One powerful server I must say, the thing hosting that one torrent file.

The most seeders I've had while downloading hasn't passed the 100 mark.

boooo uTorrent. lol (I prefer Azereus). I've never seen that many leechers though. Good grief.

Yeah... I used Azereus too for a while but it hogged too many system resources... utorrent barely uses any resources... thats mainly the reason why. It's easier to use too, along with more options. Like encryption, legacy connections, forced connections, upload/download ratio, which torrents get more bandwith, etc etc. I don't know, maybe azereues has that too now? But by far, Azereus and Utorrent are probably the best.
The garmin and tomtom of torrents ;).
But yeah, thank you for the congrats. Will keep posted about the beta.
