Why can't you mods just try communication for once?

Why can't you bring up issues like these in Mod Performance, or one of your inumerable other threads about similar issues?

Tell us specifically what you're talking about this time, or don't bother.

Well, when you make 15 million complaints, it's sometimes hard to keep them straight.

Anyway, that wasn't so much a lack of communication, just an unfortunate overlap of communication, lol. But anyway, it's resolved now.

You guys keep saying "mods" this and "mods" that. It's a little unfair to those of us who are making every effort possible to smooth things out.

I said some disparaging things about our community members and everyone raises a brow. My points become evident. Story ends there, more or less. There has to be a give and take here. Hitherto, nearly the entire experience on createblog has been defined by staff & member tensions, and, in perfect frankness, there is absolutely no use or need for it. You want us to communicate with you, yet, all you seem to care about is antagonism and your small internet perversion. I'll talk, but, let's consider what truly matters... I have been lampooned for caring about this community, not caring about this community, taking everything far too seriously, taking nothing seriously whatsoever, and it's all a horrible joke. None of it makes sense, none of it is concise or reasonable, and, ultimately, none of it equates to the sort of communication you are supposedly calling for from us.

I'm sorry, but, this place simply is not what it use to be. I remember your activity just a few months ago and I remember you being a largely enjoyable, friendly, uncontentious fellow; even your vocabulary has changed. I feel like Julius Caesar. I was, at once, "respected," and "celebrated" on these boards. I made heartfelt and thoughtful posts about the future of this place and received immense and serious feedback. It appears now, as if, those days have gone to the stupidity and laziness of the many. I'm really at a loss here. For one, I feel that there exists a stupendously irrational bias against the staff. This bias refuses all compromise, forgiveness, or reason. Further, I feel that there is an endless antagonism, highly propagated by overblown and melodramatic instances such as this, that is powered, largely, by the aforementioned bias.

Still, I have but the foggiest recollection of how these tensions were formed, and why they persist. If you truly want communication, and if you truly want to see createblog's community a more welcoming, enjoyable, and engaging place... put this behind yourself. Let's rock a 'tabula rasa' and get the f**k over this all. Otherwise, I have no idea why you're are still here, lest I was right in my thinking all along - you truly are nothing but a troll.

In either case, your behavior is not advantageous to any sort of healthy communication and you can't be surprised (even without tremendous foresight) that your attempts have been, more or less, fruitless. Try it from another angle; I think a lot of us are considering it anyways.

Since I'm in a good mood, and I think a nice amount of tension has passed, I'm just gonna ignore the above post.

Communication is a two way process. It just isn't one way (Mods). We both have to communicate with each other coherently.
